That sensational murder case of Delhi: Son got his father killed in property dispute, hatched a conspiracy with the servant and his son

1. Introduction: The breakdown of a family

A heinous crime has taken place in Delhi's Narela area which has raised questions on the foundation of family relationships. 67-year-old Ramesh Bhardwaj was murdered by his own son Luv Bhardwaj (35). Former servant Jitendra (47) and his son Vishal (19) were also involved in this conspiracy. Greed for property and family feud have put humanity to shame. This case is not just a murder, but a story of growing greed, moral degradation and indifference towards law in society.

2. Background: Struggle of Bhardwaj family

Ramesh Bhardwaj was a middle-class businessman who ran a rubber factory and dry-cleaning store in Narela. He had three children – two daughters and a son Lav. Lav was angry with his father for a long time as he felt that Ramesh was giving a bigger share in the property to the daughters. The dispute escalated when Ramesh tried to evict Lav from the house by applying under the Senior Citizens Protection Act.

Why did the relationship deteriorate?

Love's allegation: "Father favoured my sisters over me."

Ramesh's fear: "Love has threatened to kill me."

Property dispute: Tensions over ownership of factory and house.

3. That Frightening Night: Events of January 28

On the evening of January 28, Ramesh left home on his scooter. The family thought he was going for routine work, but this was his last trip. According to CCTV footage, Ramesh reached Jitendra's rented house, where he met Love. The scene that follows is horrifying:

Details of the scene: Jitendra's house was located in a narrow street of Narela.

Murder plan: Luv had already prepared Jitendra by giving him ₹35,000 in advance.

Method of crime: Ramesh was made unconscious by mixing intoxicants in his tea, then he was strangulated to death.

4. Throwing the dead body in the drain: Brutality of criminals

After the murder, Luv, Jeetendra and Vishal stuffed the body in a sack and dumped it in a drain in Narela. The drain is a symbol of the filth and neglect of the area, where the criminals could easily access to hide the body. The body rotted for three days until the police found it.

Shocking facts of postmortem report:

Cause of death: Asphyxiation due to strangulation.

Injury marks on the body: Evidence of binding of hands and legs.

5. Police investigation: technology and intelligence

On January 29, Ramesh's daughters filed a missing person report. Police solved the case with the help of CCTV footage and mobile tracking:

CCTV clue: Ramesh visiting Jitendra's house.

Mobile Tracking: Finding Vishal's second number.

Technical surveillance: Clues from Vishal's activities on social media.

Scene of the arrest:

The police caught Vishal from his hiding place. During interrogation, he told the whole story. After this, Jitendra and Luv were also taken into custody.

6. Psychology of criminals: What do the experts say?

According to psychologist Dr. Ankita Sharma, "The greed for property made Luv so blind that he even killed his father. This is the mentality of 'instant gratification', where a person takes the path of violence without giving it long moral thought."

Jitendra's motive:

Former servant Jitendra was facing financial crisis. Love's temptation of ₹35,000 drove him to the crime.

7. Legal Aspects: Section 103 of the Indian Penal Code

In this case, the accused have been charged under "Section 103 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code (BNSS). Under this, there is a provision of life imprisonment or death penalty. Also, Section 201 can also be applied for hiding the crime and destroying evidence.

Role of Senior Citizens Act:

Ramesh had tried to evict Luv from the house by resorting to this act, which became the immediate cause of the murder.

8. Question for the society: Where has humanity gone?

This incident is not just a crime but it shows the mentality of the society where:

Property has become bigger than relationships.

Legal provisions regarding the safety of the elderly are not followed.

Financial desperation pushes people on the wrong path.

9. Conclusion: lessons and solutions

What we learn from this case is that:

1. Families should resort to mediation centres to resolve property disputes.

2. It is important to make senior citizens aware about legal aid.

3. Police should prevent crime by making better use of social media and technology.

"When greed blindfolds a man, he throws his own blood into a dirty drain."

(This article is not just a description of the incident but an investigation of the deepening crisis in society.
